Our Privacy Promise

Klosyt is owned, operated, and maintained by Gregory Yuzik ("us", or "we").

Your privacy isn't just a feature of Klosyt, it's the foundation. The free Klosyt app is 100% private: your closet, your photos, and your personal information never leave your device or your personal iCloud account. We cannot see that data, and we designed it that way on purpose.

There is exactly one exception, and it is entirely optional: Klosyt AI, our paid AI feature. When you choose to identify an item with Klosyt AI, the single photo or barcode of the item you're adding is sent to Google to recognize the product. Nothing else from your wardrobe is ever shared, and everything else in Klosyt always stays on your device.

The Free App Collects Nothing

Unless you opt in to Klosyt AI (see below), the free Klosyt app collects nothing.

Klosyt AI: The One Thing That Can Leave Your Device

Klosyt AI is an optional, paid feature that identifies a clothing item from a photo or barcode and fills in its details for you. To recognize the product, it uses Google's Gemini API together with Google Search. This is the only part of Klosyt that sends anything off your device, and it only runs when you choose to use it.

• What is sent: only the single image or barcode of the item you are actively adding, plus the short text query needed to look it up.
• Who receives it: Google LLC, acting as a data processor under Google's API terms. Under the paid Gemini API terms, your prompts and images are not used to train Google's models.
• What is not sent: the rest of your wardrobe, your other photos, your name, your location, or any usage analytics. Only the one item you are identifying is involved.
• When it happens: only when you tap to identify an item with Klosyt AI. The app tells you before the photo is sent, and you can review and edit every field before saving.

If you never use Klosyt AI, no data ever leaves your device. Klosyt AI is opt-in and requires an active subscription; the rest of the app stays free and fully on-device.

No Tracking. No Analytics. No Exceptions.

Klosyt contains zero analytics frameworks, zero advertising SDKs, and zero tracking technologies. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not build profiles. We do not sell data, because we don't have any to sell.

The Only Exception: Voluntary Diagnostics

If you experience an issue and choose to contact us for support, you may use the in-app diagnostic sharing feature to send us a report. This only happens when you explicitly choose to share it.

Your Data Stays Yours

All of your content is stored exclusively on your device and in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and protected by Apple's encryption.

Device Permissions

Klosyt may request the following device permissions. No data from these permissions is ever sent to us:

• Camera (iOS), Used to photograph your clothing items. Photos are saved to your device and your personal iCloud account. We never receive them — with one exception: if you use the optional Klosyt AI feature to identify an item, that single photo is sent to Google to recognize it.
• Location, Used for weather-based outfit suggestions through Apple's WeatherKit.
• Calendar (iOS), Used to save planned outfits to a dedicated Klosyt calendar.
• Notifications, Local notifications only (e.g., outfit reminders).

Apple Platform Services

• Apple WeatherKit, Provides weather data. Processed by Apple's servers, not ours.
• Apple StoreKit, Handles subscriptions. We never receive your payment details.
• Apple CloudKit, Syncs your Klosyt through your personal iCloud account.

Third-Party Services (Klosyt AI only)

The free app uses no third-party services that receive your data. The optional, paid Klosyt AI feature uses one:

• Google Gemini API & Google Search, Used solely to identify a clothing item from the photo or barcode you choose to add. Only that one image (or barcode) and a short search query are sent — never the rest of your wardrobe. Google processes the request as our data processor; under Google's paid Gemini API terms, your content is not used to train Google's models. See Google's Privacy Policy.

If you do not use Klosyt AI, none of your data is ever sent to Google or any other third party.

Subscriptions

Klosyt AI is an optional auto-renewable subscription processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your Rights (International)

Regardless of where you live, Klosyt's privacy-first architecture means your rights are inherently protected:

• Right of Access, All your data is on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
• Right to Rectification, You can edit or update any data directly within the app.
• Right to Erasure, Delete items within the app or delete the app itself.
• Right to Data Portability, Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account under your control.
• Right to Object, The free app performs no processing of your data, so there is nothing to object to. You can avoid Klosyt AI processing entirely by not using that feature.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), these rights are guaranteed under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For users in Brazil, these rights are provided under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). For the free app, Klosyt collects no personal data, so no legal basis for processing is required. For the optional Klosyt AI feature, the only processing is sending the item you choose to identify to Google; our legal basis is your consent and performance of the feature you requested, with Google acting as our processor under its API terms.

Website Analytics

This website (klosyt.com) is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies. For traffic and performance it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects no personal data. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, page requested) are retained by Cloudflare on its standard retention schedule. The Klosyt app itself includes no analytics.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Klosyt ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Klosyt is a digital closet application available on iOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS.

Klosyt's AI Stylist uses real-time weather data provided by Apple WeatherKit to generate personalized outfit suggestions. All AI processing is performed on-device.

Your Privacy Comes First

We believe your personal data belongs to you and only you. Klosyt is architected so that we never collect, access, or store any of your personal information.

Your Content, Your Ownership

Everything you create in Klosyt belongs entirely to you. We do not access, collect, or claim any rights to your content.

Subscriptions

Klosyt offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("Klosyt AI"). The free tier provides unlimited Klosyt storage and core functionality forever.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings at any time.

Klosyt AI includes 5 free AI identifications per install — there is no time-limited free trial. After those are used, an active $0.99 / month subscription is required to continue.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is our intellectual property.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent any security or access controls
• Redistribute or resell the App or any part of it

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple services including iCloud (CloudKit), WeatherKit, and StoreKit.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States.
